Hello and welcome to my blog. As I'm sure you can guess, my name is Timothy G. Elsy. If you're really curious, the "G." stands for Graham.
I'm an aspiring writer from York, currently in my final year at York St. John University studying Film & Television Production.
My main goal is to go on to become a screenwriter, writing scripts for either film or television, I'd be happy with either. My main interests in regards to genre would be in comedy, adventure, science fiction and perhaps the odd bit of camp murder mystery. That's not to say that I'm limiting myself to those genres, they're more kind of personal preferences.
As well as writing, I have a keen interest in film making and the media industry in general. It is my belief that the media is an ever-evolving format and very much look forward to seeing where it goes in the years to come. My favourite area of the industry being that of the internet. It is another goal of mine to create a story one day that is told entirely through the internet, using social networking as a medium.
I suppose that I would sum myself up as a storyteller and the media industry is my medium.
Anyway, keep up to date with this blog and you're sure to learn about my opinions and advancements as I move on from my days at university and dive head first into the intimidating giant we call "the media industry".
